The Departmental Trade Union Side has been informed that DWP has decided to reinstate the normal Sick Leave and Attendance Management procedures for swine flu related absences for all new cases reported on, or after, The DWP decision is based on the latest data provided by the NHS and the Health Protection Agency which shows that the number of swine flu cases continues to fall and the number of people currently receiving antiviral drugs is the lowest since the National Pandemic Flu Service was activated.
